Why Should I Get My Students Involved?
As a piano educator, it can be tough to keep students engaged in the long-run. What better way to keep students committed than cold hard cash! Each quarter, the student who is awarded the scholarship may use the $600 cash in anyway that advances their musical experiences.
Additionally, our 3 month cycles allow students to continuously grow. We suggest that students consult with their piano teachers for feedback, which reinforces the piano teacher’s value in the student’s musical development.
We require all of the pianists submitting projects to be actively enrolled with a piano teacher or formal piano program. We offer a directory on which you may list your contact information so that interested pianists without a current teacher may find you.
If your student is awarded the scholarship, we will display their project on our website and social media platforms and credit both the pianist and their teacher(s).
Piano educators are incredibly important to their students, community, and the music industry as a whole. Vanguard Piano Service created this scholarship opportunity to help grow musicians and support piano teachers. We hope this program brings value to you and your students.
