How Do I Qualify?
Five Requirements For All Projects
THIS IS A SCHOLARSHIP FOR PIANISTS OF ALL AGES
#1. All final projects must use a piano. Acoustic piano performances are preferred, but digital pianos are allowed if set to the grand piano voice setting with no background features or tracks. Submissions on other instruments will not be considered.
This scholarship opportunity is open to pianists of all ages and skill levels that follow the project guidelines. However, parental consent is required for children under 18 years old to apply and participate.
SHARE YOUR MUSICAL ART WITH OTHERS
#2. Perform in front of an audience in a public space!

RECORD YOUR MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
#5. Video document your final project. We will require video footage of your final project. But remember you are being judged on how far outside your comfort-zone you pushed yourself and how creatively you shared your musical art with others. So talk about these things in your video.
Video record your piano performance taking a moment to explain why you chose the music you chose, how the project challenged you, how you grew during the process, and what the experience means to you, etc.
You may turn in your video one of two ways in the “Upload My Project” page.
The first option is to upload a link to the video of your project. We recommend uploading it to Youtube as an 'unlisted video' and copying/pasting the link.
The second option is to upload the video file to the application. We accept .mp4, .avi, .avchd, and .flv video file types only.
The project submission page contains a mandatory application where you will be asked questions about your project to accompany your video submission. Click the “Preview Scholarship Application Questions” button to preview the questions.
